President Donald Trump\u2019s new government watchdog agency that\u2019s headed up by Elon Musk, the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE<\/a>), announced it has already reduced federal spending<\/a> by approximately $1 billion per day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDOGE is saving the Federal Government approx. $1 billion\/day, mostly from stopping the hiring of people into unnecessary positions, deletion of DEI and stopping improper payments to foreign organizations, all consistent with the President\u2019s Executive Orders. A good start, though this number needs to increase to > $3 billion\/day,\u201d the Department said<\/a> in a social media post Tuesday.<\/p>\n
