(WND<\/a>)\u2014A rapper is singing a politically incorrect tune as he says Black Lives Matter is \u201cliterally a scam.\u201d The singer is Lil Yachty who made the comment during an appearance on a cooking show with Quenlin Blackwell.<\/p>\n

During the pair\u2019s kitchen discussion, Blackwell asked Lil Yachty: \u201cYou spent $100,000 on a trip to Disney once. How much have you spent on charitable causes this year?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just blurry, I\u2019ve been doing so much,\u201d the rapper said. \u201cBLM?\u201d asked Blackwell.<\/p>\n

\u201cBLM is a scam,\u201d the rapper said matter of factly. \u201cBLM was, it was literally a scam. They had bought mansions. You probably wouldn\u2019t know anything about it because you don\u2019t care about black people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blackwell responded as she caressed her arms: \u201cI do care about black people. Look at my chocolate. You\u2019re mad.\u201d\u201cIt\u2019s a disguise,\u201d the rapper quipped.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019m literally the most pro-black person in this room,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause you have an all-white staff?\u201d the singer asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re not white. They\u2019re P.O.C. [persons of color],\u201d Blackwell replied.<\/p>\n

Just this week, Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House in Washington, D.C., was being dismantled by the city after the local government agreed to retire it due to federal funding threats from Congress.<\/p>\n

Right now: work crews just North of the White House to dismantle Black Lives Matter Plaza 4.5 years since receiving this designation by DC local government.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

IN 2021, Patrice Cullors, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, departed from her role<\/a>\u00a0as the organization\u2019s executive director amid reports of enriching herself.<\/p>\n

Cullors \u201cdecried what she called a smear campaign from a far-right group, but said neither that nor recent criticism from other black organizers influenced her departure,\u201d the AP reported.<\/p>\n

BLM Global Network had previously offered a vigorous defense for Cullors in April 2021 after reports revealed she had purchased four homes across the country for a total of $3.2 million since 2016.<\/p>\n
