CORAL REEFS FLOURISH IN WARMER WATER, CLIMATE DENIERS DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO KNOW THAT CLIMATE CHANGE DOES NOT HURT THE SEA ENVIRONMENT

Coral Resilience Defies Climate Doom: New Studies Reveal Ancient Reefs Flourished in Warmer Seas

Great Coral Reef
  • Historical coral growth surged during the Holocene (6,000–10,000 years ago) when oceans were 1–2°C warmer and sea levels 1–2 meters higher than today.
  • Modern coral decline linked to shallow waters, not warming—reefs expanded rapidly when deeper “accommodation space” was available.
  • Great Barrier Reef’s “turn-off” periods coincided with cold phases (e.g., Little Ice Age), not heat, with growth resuming when temperatures rose.
  • Sea-level variability, not CO?, drove reef health—higher seas created ideal conditions for expansion, while falling levels stunted growth.
  • Current climate policies ignore geological context—corals adapted to natural warming before, raising questions about doomsday narratives.

(Natural News)—For decades, scientists and policymakers have warned that rising sea temperatures and ocean levels spell doom for the world’s coral reefs. Yet emerging research from Indonesia’s ancient reefs and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef (GBR) tells a starkly different story: Corals not only survived but thrived when oceans were significantly warmer and sea levels far higher than today.

A study published this month in Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology reveals that between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago, during the Holocene Climatic Optimum, coral reefs in Indonesia grew at rates of ~6 mm per year—six times faster than today’s anemic ~1 mm/year. The reason? Sea levels were up to 2 meters higher, providing the “accommodation space” needed for vertical expansion. As oceans cooled and levels dropped, growth slowed dramatically.

Meanwhile, research from the Keppel Islands in the southern GBR confirms that reefs experienced “turn-off” periods during cold snaps—such as the Little Ice Age—when sea levels fell. When temperatures rebounded to 1–2°C above modern levels, corals resumed rapid accretion, with some reefs growing at 15 mm/year, the fastest rates in the GBR’s 8,500-year history.

These findings upend the dominant narrative that warming oceans are an existential threat to corals. Instead, the data suggests shallow water depths—not heat—are the primary constraint on modern reefs. With current sea levels 1–2 meters lower than during the Holocene optimum, corals lack the space to expand, leading to the “declining coverage” observed in recent decades.

The sea-level secret: Why depth matters more than temperature

The study’s lead authors, including Dr. Holly East of Northumbria University, have long argued that reef health is more sensitive to sea-level changes than temperature. In the Maldives, East’s team found that reef islands formed during periods of higher seas, contradicting claims that rising oceans would “drown” atolls. “If climate change causes rising sea levels,” East noted, “it may actually create the perfect conditions to reactivate reef growth.”

This aligns with the GBR research, where reef “hiatuses” occurred when sea levels fell—not rose. At Halfway Island, corals grew vertically at 8 mm/year when seas were higher but shifted to lateral expansion as levels dropped. Nearshore sites like Divided Island only initiated growth during a late-Holocene highstand (~2,000 years ago), when waters were ~1 meter above today’s levels.

  • Warmer water + higher seas = Rapid coral growth
  • Cooler water + falling seas = Stunted or halted growth

Yet modern climate models ignore this geological context, instead attributing coral decline solely to anthropogenic warming. The data suggests the opposite: corals are starved for space, not suffering from heat.

The Great Barrier Reef’s cold-water crisis

The GBR’s history further undermines the climate-doomsday narrative. During the Mid-Holocene (5,500–2,500 years ago), reefs in the northern and southern GBR experienced a “turn-off”—but not due to heat. Instead, falling sea levels and cooler temperatures reduced accommodation space, halting accretion.

Dr. Nicholas Leonard, whose 2020 study examined GBR reef cores, found that coral growth surged when SSTs (sea surface temperatures) were 1–2°C warmer and seas were 1 meter higher. “The reefs accreted uninhibited under these conditions,” Leonard wrote, “suggesting warmth was not a stressor but a catalyst.”

Today, the GBR’s struggles are often blamed on bleaching events linked to warming. Yet historical records show:

  • 1998’s mass bleaching occurred after a strong El Niño, a natural cycle.
  • Coral recovery rates vary widely—some reefs bounce back within decades, while others stagnate due to local pollution or overfishing, not global temperatures.

Critically, the GBR’s fastest growth in 8,500 years occurred in the late 20th century, when SSTs rose modestly. This contradicts claims that even slight warming is catastrophic.

The political reef: Why the climate narrative ignores geology

Despite the evidence, governments and NGOs continue to push a one-sided story: corals are dying because of human-caused CO? emissions. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, for instance, warns of “irreversible damage” from warming—yet omits the Holocene context where reefs flourished in hotter conditions.

Why the silence?

  1. Funding incentives: Billions in climate research grants depend on catastrophic projections, not nuanced geological history.
  2. Policy agendas: Carbon taxes, renewable mandates and Net Zero policies rely on fear of ecological collapse.
  3. Media sensationalism: Headlines about “dying reefs” drive clicks; stories of resilient corals do not.

Dr. Peter Ridd, a marine geophysicist who sued Australia’s James Cook University for wrongful termination after questioning GBR science, argues that “institutions suppress dissent” to maintain the crisis narrative. “The data shows corals adapt to warming,” Ridd told The Australian. “But admitting that would undermine the political push for climate action.”

A Future Written in Stone: What Ancient Reefs Teach Us

The lessons from the Holocene are clear:

  • Corals are not fragile—they thrived in warmer, higher seas for millennia.
  • Sea-level variability is the dominant driver of reef health, not temperature alone.
  • Modern reef decline is more likely due to local stressors (pollution, overfishing, dredging) than global warming.

What does this mean for policy?

  • Adaptation over mitigation: Instead of focusing solely on CO? reduction, efforts should prioritize water quality, fishing regulations, and sediment control.
  • Questioning climate models: If corals grew faster in warmer seas, why do models predict their extinction?
  • Decentralized conservation: Local communities, not global bureaucracies, are best positioned to protect reefs based on real-world conditions.

Beyond the doom: Reefs, resilience and reality

The narrative that corals are on the brink of extinction is not just incomplete—it’s historically inaccurate. The Holocene record proves that reefs are dynamic, adaptive systems capable of remarkable growth under conditions warmer than today. Yet this truth is buried beneath layers of political agendas, media hype and institutional groupthink.

As the world spends trillions on climate policies based on flawed assumptions, the real question is: What if the greatest threat to reefs isn’t warming, but people’s refusal to learn from the past?

For now, the corals themselves offer an answer—written in limestone, not computer models. And their message is clear: Life finds a way, if people let it.

AMERICAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS HIDING THE UGLY TRUTH! AMERICANS ARE SICKER THAN EVER!

The DARK Truth Behind America’s Healthcare System

Are we facing a health crisis in America? It might be worse than you think. Shockingly, 77% of our young people can’t even pass the health exam required to join the military. This isn’t just a health problem; it’s a national security issue. How did the world’s most powerful nation become so unhealthy?

There’s a growing movement pushing back against our broken system. It’s called the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement. Spearheaded by figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) and Dell Bigtree, CEO of Maha Action, MAHA is fighting for medical truth and transparency. You can find out more about their work at Maha Action. But what exactly is MAHA trying to achieve? And why is it so important right now?

MAHA: More Than Just a Movement

MAHA is gaining serious momentum, and it’s already making waves. It played a significant role in the last election, drawing in voters who are deeply concerned about their health and the health of their families. Think about the “MAHA Moms.” These are mothers who are fired up about the dangerous chemicals and toxins hiding in our everyday foods.

Here’s a scary example: Froot Loops sold in America contain toxic chemicals that are illegal in the Froot Loops Kellogg’s makes for other countries. Why are we allowing this? These are the kinds of issues that are driving people to get involved and demand change. People are waking up and realizing that health is political, and they’re ready to fight for it.

RFK Jr. has pointed out that our healthcare system focuses on managing sickness and disease instead of preventing them in the first place. Why is that? Shouldn’t the goal be to eradicate sickness altogether?

Think about it: The pharmaceutical industry makes more money when people are chronically ill. Cures and prevention don’t generate the same profits. The problem is that our system has been run by an industry that benefits the most from keeping people sick. And the numbers don’t lie.

We’re now the sickest nation in the industrialized world. Back in the 1980s, only about 12.8% of kids had a chronic disease. Now, that number has skyrocketed to nearly 60%! That means 60% of our children have a disease they’ll likely struggle with for the rest of their lives.

Cancer rates are higher than ever. Heart disease is on the rise. People are dying younger. Whatever success we thought we had in healthcare is now slipping away. The focus has been on pushing more and more drugs to cover up the symptoms instead of finding the real cause of the problem.

RFK Jr. recently fired a large number of people at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to change this very culture. His goal is to shift the focus toward finding the root causes of diseases like cancer, heart disease, autism, asthma, ADD, and ADHD. It’s a bold move, but a necessary one.

Look at the numbers: In the 1960s and 70s, the autism rate was about 1 in 10,000. Today, it’s 1 in 34. For boys, it’s even more alarming – about 1 in 22. What’s causing this explosion? How corrupt has our healthcare system become that these numbers are allowed to happen? These are serious questions that deserve serious answers.

So, what’s to blame? Is it vaccines? Fluoride in our water? 5G cell phones? Herbicides and pesticides like glyphosate? Hormones in our meat supply? Pollution in the air?

The truth is, we may not know exactly what’s causing this health crisis. But we do know one thing: We’re getting sicker, and it has to be related to the toxins in our environment. Our genes haven’t changed that dramatically in just 40 years. So, it’s clear that something in our environment is triggering these health problems.

And here’s the kicker: Every single one of these potential toxins – from the beef we eat to the water we drink – has been approved and declared safe by our regulatory agencies like the HHS, FDA, CDC, and NIH. This system needs to change, and fast.

Remember when kids used to play outside all the time? Basketball courts were packed. Now, kids are glued to their phones and iPads, often eating junk food. How do we get them moving again? How do we inspire America to get healthy again?

It starts with our children. That’s why MAHA Action is working on a school lunch program to get whole, nutritious foods into schools and kick out the processed junk. We’re spending trillions of dollars on healthcare every year, and most of that goes to treating chronic diseases. If we can teach our kids to eat well from the start, we can change the future.

MAHA is working on some big initiatives to inspire the nation. They’re aiming to launch a “Get America Healthy Again” campaign for the 250-year anniversary of the United States. The goal is to make that year the year we decide to become the strongest, healthiest nation in the world again.

When you have a nation of sick and overweight young people, it’s not just a health problem – it’s a national security threat. It’s time to take this seriously.

The WHO: A Threat to Sovereignty?

President Trump made a significant move when he pulled the U.S. out of the World Health Organization (WHO). Why was this so important?

During COVID, the WHO drove lockdowns worldwide. They’ve also signed treaties that could override national constitutions. The WHO is setting up a situation where they become the governing body of the world during pandemics. This raises serious concerns about national sovereignty.

Figures like Bill Gates have become major funders of the WHO, raising questions about influence and control. The argument is that globalists are seeking a one-world government. Trump’s stance was clear: the U.S. Constitution and sovereignty come first.

A Victory: Utah Bans Fluoride

There are some victories to celebrate. Utah recently banned fluoride in its water supply. For years, concerns about fluoride were dismissed as conspiracy theories. But now, major studies are showing that fluoride can lower children’s IQ. And the more fluoride a pregnant woman drinks, the more IQ points her baby can lose.

Florida is also removing fluoride in some districts. There’s hope that RFK Jr. might make federal policy changes regarding fluoride recommendations. Every IQ point counts, especially for our children.

Good food, clean water, and exercise are essential for a healthy nation. It’s time to take action..

“SCIENTISTS” CONSTANTLY PEDDLE LIES TO GET STUDY GRANTS!

Not Just Fauci: The Scientific Establishment Peddles Lies Continually

Not Just Fauci: The Scientific Establishment Peddles Lies Continually
Bet_Noire/iStock/Getty Images Plus

It was just revealed that the Biden administration intentionally buried an “inconvenient” study in order to justify an energy crackdown. Of course, we’re seldom shocked to hear that politics is, well, political.

But what about when study authors themselves bury, or otherwise obscure, inconvenient data? This not only happens, says a Ph.D. scientist with more than 20 years experience, but is actually common in research. In fact, the picture painted by Dr. Lorene Leiter reveals, the mainstream science establishment is much like our mainstream media establishment: a realm where lies may reign supreme.

Explaining her background, Leiter states that she “earned a Ph.D. from Rutgers University and worked at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.” She began her scientific career as a starry-eyed young idealist, too. Her romantic vision was one of toiling in a basement with Marie Curie-like figures pushing back the frontiers of knowledge. And Leiter did make a major discovery:

She learned that today, the “publish or perish” priority trumps all.

“No paper, no money for your lab. Period,” Leiter writes at American Thinker Wednesday. “And the mother lode for money is the NIH.”

Yes, that would be the National Institutes of Health — the entity the now notorious Dr. Anthony Fauci was part of.

Get the Cat — An Infernal Lab Mouse Is Refusing to Cooperate Again

Leiter states that our current system ensures scientific fraud. In fact, the incidents of cheating she observed are legion, she says. Know that she’s far from the first to make this observation, too, as I reported in 2014. (More on this later.)

A common cheating method, Leiter relates, is to, à la Joseph Stalin, “airbrush” “uncooperative” lab mice from an experiment. That is, let’s say that upon conducting research you find that your hypothesis isn’t borne out. But then you realize you can use the Chinese menu method of result “alteration.” Just dispense with “the data from two mice in Group A and one in Group B,” writes Leiter, and voila! Hypothesis alignment is achieved — and publication is possible.

As for possibly disclosing the negative results revealing your hypothesis’ invalidity, that’s a nonstarter, states Leiter. First, you won’t be published. Moreover, it’ll be disastrous for the other scientists expending resources studying the same hypothesis. (Probably a good way to earn persona non grata status among your colleagues.)

Staggering Deceit

Leiter also provides some examples of the scientific fraud. She writes that, for instance, there’s the interaction that wasn’t — published in a prestigious journal. The “discovery?” Molecules A and B bound together! It was a big discovery in cancer research. What the journal didn’t know was A and B never bound directly. Instead, they both bound to Molecule C, giving the appearance that A and B bound directly. This was easily proven by dissolving C. The kicker? The researcher did this experiment before submitting the paper, but mum’s the word to the journal. And wouldn’t you know — that paper resulted in a big grant from the NIH.

And then there’s the “smart” gene. A gene in mouse brains was altered to see if it affected intelligence. Success! It made them smarter! The study got so much attention that David Letterman included it in his act. But then…

Oops. No one could reproduce the results, and a close look at the raw data by a clever new researcher revealed the truth — the famous paper was bogus.

Warnings Abound

As mentioned earlier, Leiter isn’t alone in blowing this whistle. As I related in 2014 in “Blinding Me With Science: Fraud and Folly for Fame and Funding”:

BMJ.com (formerly the British Medical Journal) has done much good reporting on this topic. [Its] Bob Roehr wrote in 2012:

Retraction of biomedical and life science research papers for fraud or misconduct is more widespread than previously thought and is roughly 10-fold more common today than in 1975, shows a new study….

The study looked at all 2047 retractions listed in the PubMed index as at [sic] 3 May 2012. It tallied the reasons stated by the journal in making its retraction and also examined reports filed with the US government’s Office of Research Integrity and other sources. That resulted in reclassification of 118 of 742 retractions (16%) given in an earlier study of retraction from error to fraud.

Also in 2012, BMJ’s Aniket Tavare reported, “One in seven UK based scientists or doctors has witnessed colleagues intentionally altering or fabricating data during their research or for the purposes of publication, found a survey of more than 2700 researchers conducted by the BMJ.” In the same vein, BMJ’s Tony Sheldon wrote just three months later, “A Dutch survey claims that one in seven doctors have seen scientific research results that have been invented. In addition, nearly a quarter have seen data that have been massaged to achieve significant results.”

Not-so-mighty Mouse

What’s more, the problems with today’s research are baked in, asserts Leiter. For example, consider that the most commonly used mice in research now are the “C57BL/6” variety. These are purposely inbred rodents (brother/sister pairings) designed to have no genetic variability. One result of this is “fixed” recessive genes and “fixed” mutations — some of which are dangerous. As Leiter writes:

Interestingly, C57BL/6 mice don’t hear well; they prefer alcohol to water; and they are more prone to obesity. What else is wrong that has yet to be discovered? The defect may not be overt, but is it affecting your experiment without you even knowing it?

Leiter makes more points related to using these dysgenic creatures:

  • “Outbred” mice would mirror humans more in exhibiting great genetic diversity, but aren’t usually used. For this variability would necessitate much larger sample sizes and far greater monetary expense.
  • Lab rodents never see sunlight and have one dimensional diets. How does this affect their immune systems?
  • Lab mice usually have no toys and languish in small cages; meaning, there’s little exercise or stimulation. Does this create a mental state (depression?) conducive to health?

She then illustrates the problem with an example:

Suppose you discover that a certain diet made a mouse sicker. Was it the diet itself, or did the diet push the mouse over the edge because it wasn’t healthy to begin with? Or what if another diet made the mice healthier? Were they so sick (albeit not to the naked eye) that just about anything would improve their health?

Solutions

Finally, Leiter presents some possible ways to remedy the scientific corruption. She states:

For starters, minimize cheating by perhaps setting up a lab with the purpose of randomly reproducing studies submitted for publication. You never know if yours will be picked, so you better not cheat. If you’re caught, you’ll lose your NIH funding.

Second, abolish the “publish or perish” scam that encourages cheating and bad science. A good start is being able to publish negative data.

Third — how about a think tank? We don’t have to fill it with Ph.Ds — just great minds…. Imagine ideas that could emerge among people from all different backgrounds.

Really, this corruption and waste sound like problems Elon Musk and DOGE should perhaps tackle. After all, just imagine how many billions of dollars are wasted funding fraudulent research. And is any of this surprising? It is, in fact, precisely what we might expect when we combine science and state.
